Job Description
Decommissioning of IT Data center
We invite qualified service personnel for support in the following decommissioning services:
1. Server Deinstallation
- Remove approximately 300 servers from existing racks.
- Disconnect all power and network cables.
- Remove server rails and cable management accessories, where applicable.
- Clear the designated racks upon completion.
2. GPU Removal
- Remove all GPU cards from each server.
- Handle all components in accordance with proper ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection procedures.
- Pack all GPUs in appropriate anti-static packaging.
3. Memory (DIMM) Removal
- Remove all memory modules (DIMMs) from each server.
- Handle all components in accordance with proper ESD protection procedures.
- Pack all memory modules in appropriate anti-static packaging.
4. Packing for Shipment
- Prepare all removed GPUs and memory modules for international shipment.
- Provide a detailed packing list indicating the quantities of GPUs and memory modules.
Job Price: $ 20
Per-HourJob Required Skills:
knowledge of server hardware, including GPU and memory (DIMM) components.
Experience handling IT equipment using ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection procedures.
Ability to safely de-rack servers, disconnect power and network cabling, and remove associated rack accessories.
Experience in inventory management, packing, labeling, and preparing IT equipment for international shipment.
Skilled technicians capable of completing the project efficiently while following industry best practices and site safety requirements.
